We really enjoyed working with Mike to create the “sound” for our wedding reception! He was incredibly professional and easy to collaborate with, and we felt confident from our first call that we would not have to worry about having good music at our event. However, we did wonder if our music taste would be shared by our guests. We wanted a wedding with a vintage feel, and playing music on vinyl went a long way in helping us achieve that goal. We were thrilled to see that the dance floor had great energy throughout the night, and Mike’s song selections got people of all ages out of their seats. We received many positive comments from our guests about how refreshing it was to recognize most of the songs played. If you’re looking for a DJ who “gets” the appeal of older music and can provide something other than a playlist of tired wedding dance songs and Top 40 hits, we highly recommend SOUL DEEP!
