“The Motor City Soul Club returned to the Marble Bar in Detroit on June 10, 2017, for its monthly Soul Stomp.
This time we had five DJs across two stages, slinging rare soul and funk records all night. Unfortunately, we had only one recorder for those two stages, so we’ve got recordings of only some of the sets this time around.
Our special guest was Mr. Mike Dutkewych of Soul Deep, a monthly in Wyandotte, Mich., and he brought a slew of great R&B stompers, a bit o’ popcorn and a massive heap of soul.”
